Monty Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 They seem to have a decent line of RR colors, and if you scroll down further there are some car colors I might be interested in. Haven't done enough reading to determine what they're made of (acrylic, lacquer etc) so any experiences, pics etc would be appreciated. https://trucolorpaint.com/products/paint/
peteski Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 I use their paints on my model trains. Those are excellent paints. I'm pretty sure they are lacquers, and acetone is one of the solvent ingredients (but they are not too "hot" and don't craze plastic). They go on very thin, and dry fast and hard, with a satin finish. But I'm talking about the model RR paints - I have never used their automotive line. Could be the same as mode RR paints, but with glossy finish.
935k3 Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 I have been using their metallics. They are great and very durable. They are suppose to be coming out with a car color line.
