peteski Posted March 17, 2020 Posted March 17, 2020 Looks like the kit was released recently. Looks like a nice kit! While this will be of limited appeal to modelers on this forum, Ken started a build thread in the "On the Workbench" section. That thread is also an excellent kit review. I hope Ken doesn't mind me linking to it here.
Mike999 Posted March 18, 2020 Posted March 18, 2020 If you want some humans with your Motorwagen, ICM is also issuing the kit with figures of Bertha Benz and her 2 sons. (Kit #24041). ICM is using this photo to promote the kit, so I guess the final product will look something like this:
Bainford Posted March 20, 2020 Posted March 20, 2020 That’s a cool photo. It makes me cringe to see all that loose, flowing clothing around the whirling, turning machinery.

Especially considering what happened to the famous dancer Isadora Duncan: "On the night of September 14, 1927, in Nice, France, Duncan was a passenger in an Amilcar CGSS automobile owned by Benoît Falchetto, a French-Italian mechanic...Her silk scarf, draped around her neck, became entangled around the open-spoked wheels and rear axle, pulling her from the open car and breaking her neck."
