Gregg Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Today I went to see my son in Breckenridge, Colorado. He's 24, and quite a character. He loves to snowboard. Anyway, he took me up the County road that leads to the top of the chair lifts to Peak 9 at Breck. What a view! Was one of the most incredible days I have ever had.
Harry P. Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I have a 24 year old son too... so I know how you feel!
LOBBS Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 I got the chance to ski Breckenridge the winter after I graduated high school, beautiful country up there.
novadose71 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Beautiful view. Colorado was one of my favorite family trips as a kid, so many cool things to see.
george 53 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 WOW!, What a beautiful veiw! I don't ski(bad knee) But if I did, THAT would be a killer run!
Dave Mikrut Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 WOW What a view! I'll bet when that slope is full of snow you could snow board all the way down to the town! So nice you got to see your son too.
RJ44 Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Wow, that is some beautiful scenery. One of the many reasons that skiing is so enjoyable. Thanks for sharing the picture.
Barbo Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Thats ..great, Gregg, there is nothing like family, my oldest son is 24. A few years ago he had heart problems and believe me it was not easy. He is ok now, I thank God every day to have him with me. Time does not go backwards, we have to live the present and dream the future. God bless you and your family.......your friend........Barbo.
Rob Hall Posted October 15, 2008 Posted October 15, 2008 Cool...driving out to Breckenridge was one of my favorite weekend getaways when I lived in Denver..went out there probably 8-10 times a year, summer and winter.
