'70 Grande Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 Really enjoyed this! Interesting to only see one or two Chevrolet's in this group; and that "Studie"!
gks1964 Posted March 26, 2020 Posted March 26, 2020 YES, The good ol'days! Thanks for posting!! Gerald
'70 Grande Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 USAC race car modeling question: I know that these race cars during the late-1950's to mid-1960's frequently kept their interior door panel's with the armrests still in-place, but did these cars have their side-window glass still inside the car meaning the interior window-cranks were also still on the inner door panels, or was the side glass gone from the car meaning the window-cranks would be gone, too?
Racersonly Posted March 27, 2020 Posted March 27, 2020 The late 60s USAC stockers was really cool stuff. Factory supported Plymouths, Fords and Dodges. One driver not included in this video would be the legendary Dick Trickle. USAC Stock Car Division Rookie of the Year. I thought his 67 Fairlane was the coolest car out there. His independent Ford would run wheel to wheel with the factory cars piloted by drivers like AJ Foyt. Those were the good ole days indeed.
