I don't think there was an ugly Thunderbird made in the 1960's. I wish I had an AMT kit for every year they made one.

I'm surprised how much I like the looks of the car with the headlamp covers, as shown in the art work above. The color really pops too.

One of these days I'll bite the bullet and get the custom parts from a '64 - I'd like to use half of that rear roll pan turned vertical with one of those delicate grilles as a custom front end on a '40 Ford.
