Erik Smith
I have a few things from Mike Pagatani at 3D Scale Parts, and I’m so impressed with the quality, I thought I’d show them. These are 1/8 scale wide five wheels made to fit the 1/8 scale Revell/Monogram tires. They are printed in whatever material his printer uses - not resin cast. Below the wheels are Frankland quick change wide five finned hubs and backing plates followed by more standard wide five hubs. The backing plates fit either hub but only came with the Frankland parts. I have been gathering parts for years for a someday 1/8 scale build and I’m glad I waited for technology to catch up to my desires... 3D Scale Parts service was great too - a couple weeks for some, less than a week for the Frankland parts. peteski
Very nice! They look to be printed in gray resin, probably on a SLA type printer.
