GMC General

Got this done last night.
Been building on it for about a week.
Hood is just loose ontop as the hinges did not line up at all.
Just noticed when i took the pic's that one rear wheel does not touch the ground, guessing the frame was slightly warped and i did not notice it when building.
The hood, cab and a few other things were also warped but those i managed to get back to their original shape.
Do anyone know where i can get just the General decal for the hood?

Painted in in ultra marine blue.
Engine is not the right color but the closest i had was mint green.

Look at the General... Looking good... Glad these are back in production... Thought he was going to stick to selling insurance, but now, he's back!!!!?

Great job... This kit is NOT easy... The fuel tanks look great in black....

It was fun to build even if it had a few problems.

I would build one again if i buy one of to rereleased  versions.
I hope they rerelease the Chevy Bison to as it is the same kit just with a different grille, logo and hood ornamnet
They already have most of the molds for it with the General being out now.

That would be cool... They rereleased the Tyrone Malone duo, so why not something as simple as the Chevy Bison.... I'd be good with that, too....

Now i am waiting for the General decals for the side of the hood and when i get them i can call this one done.
Found a decalset from the rereleased coke version on ebay and it has the hood logos separate and it had 2 version of it.
One with the stars infront of the General name and one with the stars behind behind the name.

Very nice. I'm about to start building one of these myself. Mine is going to be the Coca-Cola version complete with trailer.
