VDub Parts ?

Wifey picked up a Revell 68 VW Beatle kit for me. It seems like it is mostly a stock version with the only option being right or left hand drive. Are there any aftermarket parts such as engines or Baja parts available ?

Jon it sounds like you need the AMT, former Polar LIghts, Beetle.  It was originally the Herbie Love Bug, but the second version was a Cali version.  There are some neat custom parts in that kit!

the polar light harley quin bug has 3 sets of custom wheels, uscp do a number of aircooled wheels such as brm,s, finks garage do a few resin pieces including an engine(theres a post by mdlbldr i think that shows them in what did you get today)  sometimes resin porsche 356 engines pop up on facebook, highlight model studio have a wide range of vw photo etch, bestmodelcarparts do some really nice transkits for the tamiya bug that would probably work with the 1/24 revell with a little extra work, scale production also do aircooled style rims. I'll have a look through my parts boxes to see what else there is cos I think I have most of them
