I dont know If any of you guy's go to Fred's Model World, to get kit's, but as of OCT 31 you cant get to the site, becouse AOL hometown is shut down for good, well at least I cant and I dont use AOL, Now I dont know If Fred's will get this worked out, or when, I just thought I would clue you all In....

The AOL Hometown/Compuserve shutdown also killed off the websites for the LIARS club and NNL East.

According to Fred's latest mailer, he hopes to have his own dot com site up and running by year's end.

AOLHell put the kabosh to the whole community thing. Just a sign of the times I guess. Rumors are starting to circulate they aren't doing very good financially either and this is probably just a way they have to utilize to cut back on unneeded expenses. Like it or not people, you can probably expect more of the same from other companies in the future.

Anyone who says the economy isn't as bad as it looks needs to have their heads examined.

Not that I'm in the know, but have been told that, Fred's model world will be back December 2nd at and if I get this right

"freds" modelworldonline.com, but like I was told it wont be till around Dec 2nd, I know alot of people dont use online shop's to buy thier kit's I totaly support, the fight to support you're LHS, but I dont have one, so, anyway i just thought it would be kool to update everyone...
