Vintage Bonneville meet photos in color

Its a niche subject but I found a large number of color photos of the 1954 Bonneville speed meeting on the Life magazine/Google photos archive.  Good for ideas, see if you can find what can only be described as a "pod racer".

Thank you for the pictures. Except for some of the push cars they look almost like today. I noticed a couple of pictures of someone crashing. Doesn't look like his day ended well.

I think they have already discussed these at the HAMB.  It is a neat collection of photos.
