Help with my Citroen

Just picked up this piece and being my favorite car I want to try to restore it . I think I can work with everything but the wheels .Any ideas on where I can get some semi-accurate every day wheels and tires ? I looked at some local Kinsmart cars to buy as a donor but nothing close.  I'm thinking this is the 1982 version of the Visa but I could be wrong about the year. The model doesn't have it but I think there should be an instrument can just to the left of the steering wheel . I definitely need to do some research on this This is my first serious attempt at a restoration so any tips would be appreciated

Joan, that looks like a tuff wheel to find but I will keep my eyes open and let you know if I find anything.  I did find pictures of the VISA competition version and some had 5 spoke mag wheels.  I dove into the parts box and found these from a Bburago or Polistil Ferrari I think.  These might work if you want to try them.  Send me a PM with your mailing address and I can drop them in the mail to you.

Far from what I've seen here but I'm calling this finished .I chickened out on trying to paint the windshield wiper and I failed in my attempt to make a Citroen instrument panel but those are challenges I'll attempt on the next car. Most importantly though it was fun and for a first try I feel satisfied with it. I'll be scouring EBay for a beat up Renault Clio next

Looks good.   You'll build the couragae to add more details as you go.  ANd you can always go back to this one and add details later.
