Grease Lightning #2..

my daughter gave me  G.L. #1 for xmas last  thinking I was going to build it like the movie car. I didnt know that and built it differently. when I found out she loved the grease movie and has the record album and other memorabilia ,I went to H.L. and started on the movie version to give it her for her birthday this month. following pics are of the progress.

I thought the movie car had a small block Chevy in it.....

goin along pretty smooth. I guess since I recently built the same model, I have no difficulty repeating it even a little better than the first one. a few small details and she's ready for delivery.

Nice, I remember the movie. I've looked everywhere on Google and can't find it, but I'm sure I remember this car had a clear perspex hood?

Haven't seen the movie in many years, but the red one did have a clear hood.

Ah, that must be the one I'm thinking of then. I knew there was clear hood to do with this movie somewhere.
