Is there a difference between the two Revell 2013 Boss 302 Mustang kits? Scalemates shows that the yellow version is a new tool. I'm ass-uming that one is the US version and the other is the German version, but I am curious if there is a parts difference between the two.

I would bet that beyond packaging and parts layout in the box, the content would be the same. Revell of Germany often has superior decals however, but a higher price to go with that in North America as well.

I'm pretty sure it's the same kit. The "new tool" designation on Scalemates had me wondering. I did not know about the decal differences between the NA and German kits. That's good information.

Yes, Scalemates is a good site but has lots of inaccuracies as Rob says and you can't trust everything you read there.
I have been thinking of letting them know what wrong things I have seen so far but I have seen so much so it's a huge job, so I haven't.

If you download instructions of both models, you'll find that they're same. So same model with same parts in different box.

I had looked at the instruction sheets before posting. I did notice the yellow kit had the same sheet as the green kit, right down to the kit number. But there is a different kit number for each kit and there is a difference in the number of parts in each kit. The green has 120 parts and the yellow has 128 parts. Probably nothing significantly different to make owning one over the other anything to really consider. Being a huge Mustang fan, I was just wondering if there were some extra goodies in the yellow kit vs. the green. Thanks for the help.
