misterNNL Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Ok fellow diorama builders I need a suggestion for what to use to replicate wooden lattice fencing on my current diorama. I could scratch build it from evergreen strip or basswood but am hoping someone out there has already solved this and can suggest an alternative solution.
espo Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Check around to see if you have a craft store that caters to people building Doll Houses. Scale may be an issue but I have seen some interesting things that will cross over to what you're trying to do.

Not many shops like that here in mid-nowhere,plus Doll house stuff on-line is stupidly expensive.

Thanks Dave.I found their stock number 3572 on-line. Is that what you use? the size is listed as 2.5" x .85" and is sold in packages of (3).

misterNNL Posted August 27, 2020 Author Posted August 27, 2020 Problem solved,I'm scratch building my own lattice from .020" Evergreen strips. Takes a little time but looks very realistic.
