distinct list of model cars

Is there a website that shows a distinct list of model cars?  I am trying to find a list of the models from the 1940's. 

i was trying to look on ebay, but there are thousands of models, just searching for 1 manufacturer and one brand

i will check out scalemates next. 

i found a search that doesnt give me unique, but wasnt horrible to go through on ebay. my exact search is below. it gives me all the years that they made cars. there was about 1200 results and most were duplicates. i would say there was about 10 to 15 unique cars, not counting different boxes and stuff, not trucks
