randyc Posted September 29, 2020 Author Posted September 29, 2020 Thanks. I'm mostly down to a "one at a time" kind of building routine now, so this is it. Glad your body worked out, I can't wait to see yours as well - especially how the extreme Z and stance work out. I wish I could do that, but I know me - that would end up unfinished. I have to build so that I see fairly quick improvements or I lose interest or forget what I'm doing between sessions. Might get it finished this weekend. That's my hope anyway. The build has evolved to where it reminds me more of a Dave Bell drawing than anything else. BTW, I have had your Fotki page open for a couple days now - just perusing the builds. Thanks for all you do.
Mr. Metallic Posted September 29, 2020 Posted September 29, 2020 This is coming together quite nicely. I love the paint combo The wheels look really cool, even if you didn't intend on that finish. They actually came in that 31 sedan kit, and i believe they represent an aftermarket wheel for Studebakers. Dennis Lacey used them on a build awhile back and I think tha was what his research pointed to. But I could be wrong.

And yes, the wheels look like they've been around a while and handled a lot. They have aged so nicely - no way I'd mess with them now. They were part of what drew me to the kit to start with.
randyc Posted October 3, 2020 Author Posted October 3, 2020 Probably last update before it goes under glass. All I need is taillights and exhaust tips. I think.
stinkybritches Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Looks super badass. This build made me go to Ebay and buy this kit.
