paul@detaildownunder Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Johan's '75 Cutlass snap kit was the base for this quick and fun build! What'cha think?
LVZ2881 Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 that looks really good!!!! and the wheels fit the car very well!!! great job!!!
just_a_doodz Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Super clean Cutty ya got there!!This body style isnt too popular with most but I like it.I just wish it didnt have the "rubber" on the bumpers. The wheels look great on this.Very period.Id like to know what color (maker and name) is that.Looks great!!
Eshaver Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Gotta tell ya da color looks factory as I was painting cars of the era almost that shade of brown at the time too. Yeah, well done ! Ed Shaver, KOMRAD TOO !!
Peter Lombardo Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Paul, I can't exactly tell you why, but something about that build gets to me. I like it, as simple as it is, it all works very nicely. The paint is beautiful, but a rather bland color, the interior does not really contrast the exterior and the wheels a very plain disks, but it all works very nicely. The stance is perfect. I think this is a classic example of the old saying: Less is more. Very well done.
ChevyFan Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Saw this one on the australianmodelcarclub.com site, and am still impressed by it. It's simple, yet brilliant. Great job on this one.
RadRidesByDan Posted November 6, 2008 Posted November 6, 2008 Nice build....even though brown is not my favorite color.......it suits the style and car you went after. Nice job

Captain Obvious Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 (edited) My first car was a '75 Cutlass S Coupe, and seeing this build really makes me want to build one (and to have my car back...lol)...gorgeous build! My main beef with the Johan kit is that the front end is not correct for a 1975...the kit is closer to a '73 or '74...here's a '75 for comparison: Edited November 10, 2008 by Captain Obvious
cotto Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I want one of these Cutlass' so bad, you just don't know. Terrific job man, nice clean and most of all, simple. I guess that less is really more!
