AMT 63 Pontiac Tempest question.

Within the last 10 years Round 2 released the  Funny Farmer 63 Tempest AWB car.    How was this released?  Is it an all new kit or was the original AMT 63 Tempest tooling modified to do the  current AWB car?

It's the original Tempest LeMans coupe body and chrome with the wheelbase altered and rear wheel wells modified, paired with a newer chassis and gutted interior. IIRC this version was first issued in 1967?

Only the body and related parts are from the original Tempest kit.  The chassis and interior are shared with the altered-wheelbase '65 Nova kit.  Both were first issued as altered wheelbase drag cars in 1967.
