Does this look right?

So I’m going to build my first roll cage. I’ve done a lot of research n found this blueprint of one that’s very faded so I decided to trace over it and this is what I got. I’m building an AMT 1972 Nova SS. If I’m missing something please me know or if I’m doing something wrong. I won’t be using the stock frame but just for an idea

Looks good...one thing I would do is make sure the cage is as close as possible to the roof, at least in the area around the front seat area.  If it is too low, it will look as though the body had been adapted to an unrelated chassis.

If I were you, I would start by seeing if I could get that awful AMT body into shape and looking good (it CAN be done, but it takes care and effort) before spending a bunch of time building a nice chassis that will be hidden by a turd of a body.

But hey, that's just me. B)
