raisin27 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 (edited) Our local model club recently spent the day at Dave Cranes garage. Dave is a great guy with a huge collection of vintage drag stuff and even more fascinating stories! He was the chief starter at the Martin Mich. U.S.131 dragstrip for many years and started "collecting" when all this stuff was just considered junk. I have never seen so many early hemis in one spot! It seemes every piece has a story behind it........I could have listened for a week! I took a bunch of pics to use as reference if anyone cares to look................... http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v19/amaz...27/Club%20Trip/ Thanks, Raisin Edited November 10, 2008 by raisin27
chebbysteve Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Wow...what a great place to spend an afternoon...
Aaronw Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Funny my first thought was the Hogan's Heroes guy. A drag racing guy makes more sense.
george 53 Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 WoW Mike, Joe wasn't kiddin whe he said Bob was an "old" Hot Rodder! I should have gone with you guys, looks like it was worth the trip! Well, tell me about it at the next meeting, so I can feel bad about what I missed!
