zaina Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 Great work!! This might help for the cylinder. I used these on my current payhauler build. I found some telescoping alligator clips and cut them down to size. You can find them at most hardware stores with a clip, mirror or magnet on the end of them.

Will have to check into that. I am pretty much making it up as I go. This is the last hurdle for this build before I can put the finishing touches on it.
DRIPTROIT 71 Posted February 3, 2021 Posted February 3, 2021 I have started with the lower part of the kit cylinder cut off and drilled out and used aluminum tubing for the stages with plastic tubing rings. Cutting the tubing with a tubing cutter shrinks the end slightly and if you’re careful it doesn’t pull apart when slid together. That is what is on this dump.

I have a few ideas to work with now. That's a nice IH you built there. Is that tarp scratch built or a resin piece. I was thinking of doing that on my trailer.

They turned out much better on my T800. The tarp itself is made from wide masking tape or painter’s tape, taped together and painted flat black, and then rolled on the roll.
Mopar - D Posted February 4, 2021 Posted February 4, 2021 Thanks for sharing this awesome information on how you made your tarps Brian.
