Johan Pinto Funny Car

I am working on a Johan Pinto Funny car and have been baffled as to what to do with the huge quick change rear end. Then came across this photo. Well, it looks as if the kit rear end is correct.

Anybody have more photos or information?

Thanks for posting this, I have been trying to decide what to do about that seemingly cartoonishly large rear end. Now that I know it was a real part I've got some ideas for them.
