Bills72sj Posted December 14, 2020 Posted December 14, 2020 My parents has a 60. It was white with a red interior. I do not remember the wheels that were on it. Chrome reversed rims would be my 1st choice. 8 lugs would be my 2nd.

All of the old AMT and MPC kits had pretty nice 8 lug wheels. With a little paint detailing, they look pretty convincing, and there's no better look for a Pontiac from this era. I'm on the 8-lug bandwagon now too. Steve, those 8-lugs you show there look great as does the car.? 21 hours ago, StevenGuthmiller said: Steve I'm on the 8-lug bandwagon too
heyjohnxx Posted December 14, 2020 Author Posted December 14, 2020 Thanks to all who joined in this discussion. Civil and enlightening. Those 8 lugs are looking really good, now to find what I might have on hand. I have several Pontiacs of early 60s vintage that might have them. This will be a 2021 project, I have a 77 Trans Am to finish for a Christmas present for a friend.

Actually, the photo of the wheel on the chassis is not from the '67 Bonneville, it's from a '63. I'm kind of on that bandwagon too! I did a '61 Bonneville some time back with them, as well as a '63 Bonneville, '64 Grand Prix and the '67 Bonneville. I have a '64 Bonneville and '64 LeMans that will get stock wheel covers, but my '60, '62 and '66 Bonnevilles will get the 8 lugs as well. Steve
TransAmMike Posted December 15, 2020 Posted December 15, 2020 Big Big Pontiac fan are you Steve!!!!!!?
