Tiny clamps

I finally picked up some cheap aluminum hair clips like mattg suggested. I think they may be my new favourite clamps. The tips can be filed, shaped or bent to suit odd situations.

I love the idea of the 2nd pic.  What's the gripping power? Do they grip good? Look like the goody brand hair clips.

They have pretty strong spring, but would not even hurt if you clipped one on your lip…I wouldn’t do that with an alligator clip.?The jaws are smooth and would slip off of non-parallel surfaces, but….the tips can be easily bent to compensate or adapt to odd situations. That is the beauty of these, plus the relatively long reach. They are great for just holding things in place while glue sets.
