Andrew McD Posted January 1, 2021 Posted January 1, 2021 I've not been able to find a review of this kit which I think looks intriguing. Is anybody familiar with it? Waranabe Dunlop Reynard 89D 89' Japan F3000 Champion Race Car from Hasegawa.
RancheroSteve Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 I built the Italya version about25 years ago, which I believe is the same kit with different decals. Hasegawa did a bunch of versions of the F3000 Reynard, some have engine covers, some don't, but I think they're all pretty much the same kit otherwise. Scalemates listing here: https://www.scalemates.com/kits/hasegawa-23003-reynard-89d--320822 I don't have any pictures of my build handy at the moment, but from what I remember it's a very nice little kit. Goes together well, almost Tamiya quality. It has a good Mugen engine and ample potential for added detail if that's your thing. Let me know if you need any more info, maybe I should pull my build out and shoot a few photos.
afx Posted January 4, 2021 Posted January 4, 2021 (edited) They are nice kits. I have these two Hasegawa 1/24 scale F1 kits I'm not likely to build, if you might be interested in them Edited January 4, 2021 by afx
Andrew McD Posted January 9, 2021 Author Posted January 9, 2021 thank you for the replies afx - I might be interested in at least one of them depending on the cost and condition. They look pretty much brand new.
