Paul, I agree!  100 pro.  So many 41 Willys kits can be seen, no one puts it down in the weeds, so low and nasty looking!  Fat tires in the fenders too.  I love it, wish I had a 1:16 body, I'd do it as a next project.

Mike..

Mike....I built a Revell 1941 Willys Street Rod kit shortly after it came out in the very early 2000's.  It was a terrific kit, other than the front end was not "down in the weeds" as you so right note that it should have been.  I dropped the front end on mine, and it made a world of difference.  Thought I had a few pix posted in my Fotki folder and planned to copy  one here, but looks as though that is not the case.

I did do an article on the kit and the mods for Model Cars magazine, again in the early 2000's.  There was a cover snipe picture of the model on the cover of that issue. Worth a look if you have a full back issue library....TIM

PS - Randy Frost did a resin conversion kit with the front end dropped as it should have been by Revell; again well worth a look but doubt that it is still available new today....TB

Very cool project Stuart,  I love the 32 what an awesome machine !

Have you seen Rickards  WIP on his 32 ?  (RickArt ?)  His was similar to this I think , just thought it might help you out ?

If your stuck for parts let me know, can't promise I can help, but it might be worth asking !!

Thanks Martin,  just read through Richards build thread and found it both inspiring and depressing. No way will my build ever reach the detail or standard of his roadster. I’m trying to fine a suitable colour to get the painting under way, I feel like I’m treading water at the moment. Do you know anyone who could reproduce the lettering as decals ?

I know Rickard (RickArt) quite well, he does great work and his Roadster model is also inspired of this Roadster.
I asked another friend of mine about the Roadster and it was as I suspected, Mikael (the builder) sold it some time ago.
