Chick Corea has died

My wife came in with the news. We lost Chick Corea. I know at least a couple of us here were fans. He was an innovator, and all these years later, his music still sounds good. Glad I got to see him in concert.

I just read that news... A friend of mine is a big fan of Chick's works ; I'm only familiar with his co-op with Miles Davis' "later" ( late 60's , ad seq. ) works  , though I have heard many of his pieces . A tremendous talent .

I know the name but am not that familiar with his music. I do know he played on at least one song on Warren Zevon's Transverse City album. Anyone who worked with Zevon is okay with me.

Not a huge fan of the music, but I have huge respect for his talent.

Big fan of Chick. Jazz fusion owes a debt to him. A great loss to Jazz and music.
