Classicgas Posted February 24, 2021 Posted February 24, 2021 Anyone know who made this 71 Vega promo?
Motor City Posted February 25, 2021 Posted February 25, 2021 MPC made them from 1971 through 1977. It was available in lime, blue, Mesa Sand (an ugly tan/yellow color) and I think the 4th color was a reddish orange. It looks like someone painted that one.
Classicgas Posted February 25, 2021 Author Posted February 25, 2021 Yeah it was painted. Original color...

They were also molded in white- the box;s they came in were pretty cool too~
Oldcarfan27 Posted February 26, 2021 Posted February 26, 2021 This statement is only true, if it includes rusting, breaking down, blown head gaskets, premature engine wear and the beginning of a manufacturer onto the long road to bankruptcy.
Motor City Posted February 27, 2021 Posted February 27, 2021 Since the topic referred to the '71 promo, I believe the colors I listed were the only colors produced for that model year. It looks nice in white. My favorite is the dark green '73 promo.
