bisc63 Posted March 1, 2021 Posted March 1, 2021 Good start, will be following, as I have one of these in roughly the same condition.
thatz4u Posted March 3, 2021 Author Posted March 3, 2021 Johan engine wasn't the best, made the new one with AMT, MPC stuff from the parts box.. grille & rear bumper rechromed with Tamiya gloss black & Spaz Stix chrome spray... found wheels & tires that I like......
Tom Geiger Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Cool project, I will be watching! I have a kit that has most of the trim sanded off that I am thinking of using the Lindberg 64 Dodge chassis and drivetrain under.
Jantrix Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Cool project. I also have one waiting for some inspiration. 1 hour ago, Tom Geiger said: I have a kit that has most of the trim sanded off that I am thinking of using the Lindberg 64 Dodge chassis and drivetrain under. Tom, I don't know about the '64 but many, many years ago, I used an MPC '67 Charger chassis underneath and the fit was darn near spot on. Wheelbase was perfect.

I’ve also fitted those 64 chassis under my Johans and it’s a good fit. I have a dozen of them, I got a deal on a case for a lifetime supply of slant sixes!

thatz4u Posted March 24, 2021 Author Posted March 24, 2021 interior done, chrome pen used for details....next step under glass...
thatz4u Posted April 5, 2021 Author Posted April 5, 2021 during the test fit, no radiator present, have to find something that will work, ...oh well
bisc63 Posted April 6, 2021 Posted April 6, 2021 AMT 57 Chrysler radiator ought to be a close fit, if you have one in your stash.
