I'm starting on doing a far job of replicating some of the vehicles my Dad had when I was young, I've got almost everything I need to do his Green 75 Chevy pick up but his was 2wd and the kit is 4wd is there an easy way to change it over?

Here is a pic of the 75 and some of the others I want to try to replicate. I probably won't worry about the caps as my Dad was good for taking them off at the spur of the moment.

Kind of. There are a few different suggestions for donors on the Truck Reviews section, in at least two topics, so maybe a forum search will pull it up. Only the original issue MPC 1978 Chevy Stepside kit included the stock type 2WD front suspension.

If I remember right the MPC is 1/25th so that may not work as I have the revel 1/24th kit....  I’ll have to do a search but I don’t usually have much luck finding what I’m looking for.  Think it’s more me than the forum though....

You can use the front suspension from either the Revell '66 pickup or Suburban. I don't think the scale difference would be an issue. I can't think of a Chevy 2wd front suspension in 1/24 scale besides the van. But, it has an offset style. Longer on the left, shorter on the right.
