Although I have lived longer in Eastern Ontario than anywhere else ( 30+ yrs ), I am originally from South Western Ontario ( Chatham / Sarnia area ) plus periods, some short, others a few years  in every other province and territory except PEI.

Meant to ask @bytownshaker , are you a member of the Ottawa Model Car Group?  I've never been. I used to commute every day to work in the Big City but since that need has past I don't often drive in just for the something to do. Although, once in a while I feel the need to visit Bill's store just to see what's new or interesting.

Yes I am a member of the Ottawa  model Car Group, you should ask Bill about joining. I've been going to the Hobby Centre since it opened up at the original store on Bank St.

From the Soo Ont. Not much of a model car scene up here especially since the local Michaels stopped carrying kits and paint. Been having to go to the Soo Mich. for kits 'n' paint.

Hi!

Lucky to have a few well stocked LHS in the Québec city area. And, the only chain to still carry a minimum of plastic kits is Michael's, but when I write "minimum", I mean 2 or 3 current car kit models, and no more spray  paint, alas.

The LHS tell us they will replace Tamya's spray  line with AK's. 

We shall see...
