wayne00
A couple of weeks ago sent an e-mail to Modeltrucking with a question about one of their products and have yet to receive a reply. Wood #3 floor kit : Zen Cart!, The Art of E-commerce (modeltruckin.com) I need to know if there is enough material in one set to do a full flatbed trailer (in my case the AMT extendible), or will I need to get two of them? Thanks Rog😁
stitchdup
you could use coffee stirrers, once they are stuck down they sand well and you can get them sanded down pretty thin. for the cost of the wood kit you can get well over a thousand sticks. They are simple to weather as well,
Bills72sj
I love this idea! Low budget and home made!
wayne00
23 hours ago, stitchdup said: you could use coffee stirrers, I gave this some consideration when I started the kit. I have ZERO experience modifying anything, it was the only trailer I had and didn't want to take the chance of screwing it up!! So I'm going with the decals, I just need to know how much material I will need. Thanks Rog Edited June 5, 2021 by wayne00
wayne00
I guess no one has used this particular product. If they are 8 scale feet wide there looks to be at least 48 scale feet on the sheet. If I measured correctly the trailer only scales out to 42 feet. So I guess 1 will be enough. Thanks Rog🙃
