afx Posted July 13, 2021 Posted July 13, 2021 (edited) I'm an avid golfer and a James Bond fan, nice article about both. https://www.golfdigest.com/story/ian-fleming-royal-st-georges-james-bond-british-open-championship-2021 Edited July 13, 2021 by afx 1

Of course I was familiar with the golf scene in the movie, but have never read Goldfinger so of course didn't know all the little details and back-stories. Well worth the two minutes of my time this morning.
afx Posted July 14, 2021 Author Posted July 14, 2021 I wasn't aware Ian Fleming wrote Chitty-Chitty-Bang-Bang.
Mike Williams Posted July 16, 2021 Posted July 16, 2021 Wonderful post, interesting and factual. Being a golf friend since my youth, if I were to actually play my official, US handicap on those old British links courses, it would be surely the best round I've ever played by far. I do believe, it would be nearly impossible. I'd be thrilled there to break 100. Mike..
