Fisher61 Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Just finished this one, built from the crappy AMT Fast & Furious kit. Added R/T badges from the Revell '68 Charger kit, back up lamps from the same. I had a lot of fun building this, something I just had to do! Thanks for looking, questions and comment always welcome!
paul@detaildownunder Posted December 20, 2008 Posted December 20, 2008 Nicely Done! I guess sometimes you can polish a turd, hard to believe that's the AMT kit! .....................sweet build.
Farmer Wilding Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 The AMT kit builds up well - when they let you at it!
MyBradKeselowski Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 looks good 2 me nicely built model, I like just as I would the Revell>>>>Thumbs up on this difficult kit.
bsoder Posted December 21, 2008 Posted December 21, 2008 I haven't built this kit...but it's good to know it can be made to look that nice
RodneyBad Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I have to agree with everybody. You made a tired AMT Charger look Grade "A" Sure glad I got one, now..(I had my doubts) Awesome Job!
cruz Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Nice effort on this one considering...........
MrObsessive Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 I gotta hand it you Bill------you took what I always thought was a mediocre kit at best, and turned it into a showpiece!! Everything about it is totally outstanding!
Fisher61 Posted December 22, 2008 Author Posted December 22, 2008 Thanks guys! I think everybody though I was nuts for doing this, but I'm glad I did and am really pleased with it!
Dragon7665 Posted December 22, 2008 Posted December 22, 2008 Outstanding Job The AMT Chargers have always had alot of potential in my eyes, and I'm glad to see someone do these kits Justice
