No building for a while...

I'm not going to be able to work on any model cars for a couple of months, but don't feel sorry for me. We're moving to a much bigger house at the end of the month. Packing every thing up and getting it out of here has taken priority and that's a good thing. I'll spare the details except for these... Full finished basement including a room that I claim as my own model building space. A 2/12 car garage fot the 1:1 projects. A 700 square foot deck looking out to nothing but forest, never to be built on again. I'm stoked but at the same time I'm kind of scared. I just spent a lot of toadskins. We be O.K.!!!

Hi, I'm in a similar situation but have just moved. No modeling for quite a few years for me but hop to get started in the new year.

First thing to do will be to pull sme cars out of storage and post a few pics in the 'under glass' section.

By no means am I a rich freind, but still a freind Bill! I simply took advantage of the present housing market. I'm looking at this as a long term investment... When the market has rebounded I hope to be able to sell at a large profit and build our retirement dream house.

Well, the deal has been sealed. We closed today (actually yesterday, now that I'm seeing it's after midnight) so we'll be transfering the utilities and moving a ton of our accumulated stuff this weekend. Can't wait... the weather guessers expect a cold rain. Yaay!

I acknowledge that it hs been too long since anyone here has heard from me. Sorry guys. It's been a turbulent couple of months but all is well. My model area is coming along well, but the rest of the house is still taking priority with the details about decorating, re-doing and finishing in general. The garage and deck will be a blast this summer!

Lyle- I do plan on being at this months meeting... I may suffer from some "Styrene Detox", so it might be wise for us to arrange an ambulance to take me to a bona-fide hobby shop for rehab!!!
