W-409 Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 What is the best (most accurate and "fairly easy" to find) source for AMC 232 six cylinder engine? At least AMT's AMC Pacer Wagon has the 232 engine, and the kit has been reissued a few years ago so it's easy to find. But, are there any other choices?
Mark Posted October 17, 2021 Posted October 17, 2021 The MPC Pacer hatchback kits ('76-'78) also have a six. I'd give the MPC engine a bit of an edge (more parts) but you could go with whichever is easier/less costly.
Beans Posted October 18, 2021 Posted October 18, 2021 Was looking for the same thing not that long ago. The pacer seemed to be the only true option other than finding a similar size and looking straight 6.
W-409 Posted October 18, 2021 Author Posted October 18, 2021 Thanks for the replies, looks like I'll need to find either the Hatchback or Wagon version of the Pacer then.
