junkyardjeff
I originally built it around this time of the year in 1974,built it in the molded black and a few years later repainted it in silver and shortly later went back to black. It got put in the attic at some time and then the hood warped and that is where it stayed for over 30 years. Went to a model show today and found a hood so out of the attic it came and the noticed it was missing the spare tire and one hub cap,its been moved from box to box over the years so I hope I still have the parts. Hood will be painted to match and reglued along with some detailing and that is it.

Eric Macleod
This is one of my favorite kits. I'll be watching this one with interest!
bisc63
Anxious to see more! I wish this one was a little easier to find at a decent price.
junkyardjeff
I seen some on Ebay that might go reasonable,I have a parts car coming since it has some missing parts I did not know that were gone.
junkyardjeff
This one is a little rough since its been painted a couple times and will leave the paint alone but might make it look like a project with a primered hood and just put on the missing lower chrome parts. Now the parts car is going to create two additional projects, the V12 will be going in a 34 coupe and the rest will be a custom with more modern drivetrain. junkyardjeff
Messed with it some tonight and it fell apart more then I thought it would so it might go to a full restoration, its been painted silver then gold and black again and the body is rough. Parts car has a very nice non painted body and might use it and use my body for the custom.

junkyardjeff
Decided to leave the body as I painted it since I have a unbuilt one that will be the nice one, this one will get tje missing lower chrome from the parts car and just the chassis and engine will be repainted. junkyardjeff
New years eve 1974 is when I finished it the first time and I am working on it new years eve 47 years later.
junkyardjeff
After looking at the body a little more closely I am now going to use the body from the parts car,my rough body will be used for the custom I want to build. The original body is just way too rough so it will be perfect to cut up,many repaints have done much damage.
junkyardjeff
Its got a new body, found one not painted and no excess glue so it went on my repainted chassis and got the originals interior. I got it for the lower chrome pieces that mine was missing but this body was too nice to cut up for a custom so I will make the custom out of the rough original body.

junkyardjeff
I really wanted to keep the original body but I messed it up 40 years ago. Since its the same era body its not so bad.
Eric Macleod
Very, very nice. This is one of my all time favorite model kits of one of my all time favorite cars. You have certainly done it justice.
junkyardjeff
I really like the Monograms molded in solid colors, the metallics are not so good and need to be painted.
