Are all those model A kits and other older cars even the stock special interest in the mid 70s or what ever they were called all based on kits from the 60s,I really liked those Monogram kits when I was a kid since I reall did not have to paint them.

The Special Intetest series kits all originated in the early Sixties, but had all of their optional parts removed.  The Model A Fords had been issued without optional parts previously, the '58 Thunderbird had not.
