drummerdad Posted November 3 Posted November 3 Here is a 1/8 scale camaro I'm working on. This is a learning project. I'm learning to solder brass, and I'm fabricating the engine and rear differential from styrene. I'm not super happy about the wheels. They are for 1/10 RC cars from the local hobby shop. I'm looking at getting a resin 3d printer soon so I can start printing parts. I've reached out to dozens of people about making wheels, and Noone wants to do it. So, I'll attempt it myself. It's very slow going. I'm learning skills to build another 1/8scale model in the future. Wish me luck. 13 1

Good Luck with this and future projects.👍

FoMoCo66 Posted Sunday at 05:04 PM Posted Sunday at 05:04 PM (edited) Okay guys, I need to know if you guys think this front axle needs moved forward, because it looks a little to far back? Edit: Looking at some photos, I think i have it sitting on the frame wrong, oops! Edited Sunday at 05:08 PM by FoMoCo66 3
Tim W. SoCal Posted Sunday at 05:36 PM Posted Sunday at 05:36 PM Yes, I'd move the front axle forward. Especially if you're building a Hiboy. Them's my 2 cents, anyway... 1
Dtimmerman89 Posted Monday at 01:51 AM Posted Monday at 01:51 AM (edited) My current project, Moebius/ Model King 1966 F100 Styleside short bed. Lots and lots of dry fitting and adjusting with a slow setting CA glue. Once the suspension was finalized, I had to set the track width to get the wheel fit flush. I can finally finish up the body work on the inside of the bed, and scratch a tonneau cover. MCW enamel finishes and lots of revell chrome to come. Edited Monday at 02:05 AM by Dtimmerman89 7

dino246gt Posted 50 minutes ago Posted 50 minutes ago I started this one last year, had medical issues in January 2025 and thought I'd never build again. Well, THIS one hasn't been touched since! BUT, I have been building models again, must finish this one too, someday. Got a 351 Windsor and Tremac 6 speed manual already fitted. 5
