White Deer

Well when I took the pics I was probably a couple hundred yards away and when they finally spotted me they took off running.

Yeah, you can get within 10 feet of these and they don't seem to care until you try to take their picture. We have a sizeable population of black-tailed deer along the river as well. Depending on the wind, you can get pretty close to them as well. Again, they abhor having their photo taken.

First sighting this winter of our "pet" white deer.  Daughters pic taken day before yesterday and she showed up again yesterday evening.

An all white one is a rare sight here in PA.M dad and I I saw 1 my whole life and that was it. Saw a handful of the splotchy ones.

You think that buck would've had a pretty good chance during this time of year on the count of his winter camouflage.

I once saw an albino squirrel and thought it was cool. But this is much better

I never saw an albino squirrel, but I have seen one black one. Doubted they existed until I saw one with my own eyes. ?
