ModelcarJR Posted February 7, 2022 Author Posted February 7, 2022 Thanks, Rusty! I appreciate your comment! I used some 1/4" tube to cut a couple of bushings for the front wheels to push the wheels out a bit. Now both sets of wheels are in the same track. Only thing I've noticed about the manufacturing of this kit.. Otherwise, everything is going together well.
mrmike Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 This is coming along just fine, John! Looking good! A former friend of mine had an Hugger Orange SS396 with a black vinyl top and a 3-speed trans. He got rid of the car after he was hit in the driver's side rear quarter. He traded it in for a dark green '71 SS with a 402 and a 4-speed.
ModelcarJR Posted February 8, 2022 Author Posted February 8, 2022 Thanks, MrMike! I appreciate your comment! This one is done! I have just a few adjustments to make - the right rear exhaust pipe chrome extension for one and some minor touch-ups in the engine compartment. My only regret is that I rubbed out the edge of the left front fender and had to touch it up with a brush with the last drop of paint I could get out of the Testors Daytona Yellow paint can. So here are some photos: 1
