CountryJoe
I have "heavily modified" a '49 Mercury and plan on a '56 F100 next... but this has and will require changing the size of some of the windows. Is there a way to modify clear plastic parts or a way to make replacements?
stitchdup
for the chopped glass its probably easier to make some from the plastic you get in food containers or new dress shirt collars than it would be to cut them down. the pick up might be more difficult than the merc with the curved screen but thinner plastic should hold it shape well enough,
CountryJoe
stitchdup: thanks for the advice... I only have to do the two little side windows on the Merc so that will have to be my testing ground, but I'm planning on trying to crew-cab {plus a bit} on the '56. Ace-Garageguy
You can also get clear and colored acetate and styrene file folders at office-supply stores. Great for doing tinted windows in race-cars, etc.
