Peter Lombardo Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 I was not planning on compiling a list of my completed cars for 2008, but since many of you did, I figured why not, and yes, if you guys were all jumping off a bridge, I guess I would too, besides, I would not want to be the only guy posting pictures to myself on this site. So here is my class of 2008. I posted them in the order that I finished them this past year. A total of 9 cars and trucks completed and all but one were posted on the forum this past year. Amazingly, I have yet to suffer a “builders block†as I work on my cars at least 6, but mostly 7 nights a week. Guest Davkin Posted January 2, 2009 Posted January 2, 2009 (edited) Man, everybody is posting up such great stuff! I'm feeling real shameful that I didn't finish a single model this year! I love the Auburn, real artsy. It reminds me of that sculpture by Stanley Wanlass. The cutaway Vette is a great idea and well executed. I always love a custom '50 Chev PU. I have a soft spot of El Caminos so any phantom pickup body on a car platform gets my attention, and yours is well designed, so often the design on these types are phantoms are all off. cruz Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 WOW!!! Lot's of cool stuff there Peter!!! Love 'em all!!
RodBurNeR Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 '50 chevy pickup is ACES! nice builds, the cut away is neat too!
Bernard Kron Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 I love this retrospective thing. I missed so many of these superb builds. One I didn't miss was the "Cybele" and it's one of the highlights on the MCM board for '08 IMHO. I agree, the '58 impala is a knockout and I really like the cutaway 'Vette, too. Maybe after people mention their faves you might post some links to the Under Glass for some these.
bsoder Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Some awsome builds Man...but that Cibil Auburn just trips my trigger every time I see it
DR Dubois Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 WOW! These builds are amazing. Some true works of art as well. Thanx for sharing!
Lyle Willits Posted January 3, 2009 Posted January 3, 2009 Beautiful work. We should see a modeller's profile of your work in a magazine. (Gregg, ya reading this?)
