New Garbage Body Coming

Doug Wagner pre-announced a new 3D printed garbage body on his FB page.  Suppoosed to be announced this weekend.  Looks good to me, might be a Leach.

He also has announced a front loader (also a Leach) coming next month.

Nice but his timing is ironic in that AMT has a Garwood bodied truck coming out this year, a whole kit for the price of that body. This does give someone the ability to build a fleet.

I like the look of the larger Leach body, so I’ll grab this instead of the smaller Garwood truck. It’ll look great on the back of a Mack R.

My thoughts as well, I don't care for the look of the Garwood and I'd only use the body anyway as I don't care for the Ford cab.  I've thought about a Mack COE for a more current look but thinking I'll probably go with a Brockway 360 for a more retro look.  I've always like the Leach bodies....

That was my plan too. I was only planning to get the Garwood kit for the body and use it on a different truck.

But, the whole time I’ve been thinking how I wish it was a Leach 2r II body with that iconic big ‘ol teardrop rear. The Leach body also fits a larger era of trucks, I believe. It is much more common than the Garwood body in the upcoming kit, and still seen on the roads today.

Only wish it was smooth ,the printer lines are hard to clean up !But I like this much better then the Garwood box .
