bluestringer Posted March 22, 2022 Author Posted March 22, 2022 Made a trip to HL yesterday for the 40% off sale. I needed another 67 Chevelle Pro Street for the 55 build, but they didn't have one. So I found one on ebay and ordered it. I did pick up another Revell 29 Ford Roadster, it's a great kit and I want to build another one. The first one I went with the high boy, this one I'll do the channeled version with the tri-carb engine.

bluestringer Posted March 26, 2022 Author Posted March 26, 2022 Engine is about ready, need to wire it and install the headers.
bluestringer Posted March 28, 2022 Author Posted March 28, 2022 (edited) That's a tight engine bay in the front. I moved the engine as far back as I could and flipped the radiator, but still no room for a fan. I guess I could mount an electric on the front of the rad as a pusher. Or try relocating the rad a little more forward. Working on getting the interior done now. The 55 kit had no master brake cylinder, so I installed the booster and brake cylinder from the Chevelle kit. Gotta stop this thing at the end of the quarter. Edited March 28, 2022 by bluestringer

Zippi Posted March 29, 2022 Posted March 29, 2022 (edited) Looking good James. I cut the little peg off the frame where it located in the hole in the oil pan and moved the engine towards the firewall. Make sure your hood will still close all the way. When you spin the rad around the cap is up a little high to fully close the hood. Edited March 29, 2022 by Zippi

I trimmed the bottom of the rad/bracket to get the hood to fit flush.
