stitchdup Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I find the 2mm seems to be easier to control but mostly i just pump a little out of the pen and use a brush. You have to work quick with it but i think it works better with less chance of missing little bits. If you do miss a bit with the pen or brush you need to leave it for a week before touching it up or else it'll no look right.
Bainford Posted April 5, 2022 Posted April 5, 2022 I find the 1 mm and 2 mm both useful, though like Les, I usually apply it with a brush. I mostly use the refill bottle instead of the pens, but it is quite expensive.

Mr. Metallic Posted April 7, 2022 Posted April 7, 2022 I have switched to using the refill bottle and a brush. No more dealing with clogged tips and you can get into the nooks and crannies with the brush. It may seem expensive to start with (about 3x cost of a pen) but after you factor in constantly dealing with a clogged/dried out tip and having to keep 2-3 size pens on hand, it's worth it. It'll be even better once I get my spray booth built so i can airbrush it.
