I recently have tried the new Revell glue products. My problem is that the needle on the glue dispenser seems to be plugged up. I have been using it for about a month and everything seemed fine until today. The needle will not allow the fllow of any glue. Thinking that it may have had glue harden in the needle I ran a #80 drill in both ends of the needle. This didn't seem to have any effect. I was wondering if anyone else has had an issue with the new Revell glue?

It’s only new on the US market, it has been around in Europe for what seems like forever now, but I gave up on it years ago, mostly because of the needle clogging issue you’ve come across. But I wasn’t a fan of applying glue through the needle method anyway. I found it difficult to control the amount applied. I much prefer brush on Tamiya cements personally.

Pull the needle out and hold it over an open flame for about 10-20 seconds. That will burn out any dried glue. I've done the same to unclog the needle on Testors Liquid Cement.

I've been using this glue for 3 years now, and the clogging is a problem.  But like the post said just pull the needle and place it over the flame and it will be good as new.

Thankyou all for your input and ideas. I have pulled the needle and tried to clear it with a drill bit, but never thought of using fire. I'll give that a try.
