Shock Absorber Color

Does anyone know the correct factory color for rear shock absorbers in the 1951 Chevy car lineup? I checked my books (no help) and I could only find pictures of aftermarket replacements online.

Well thank you. Original GM parts are good enough of a reference for me. Satin black it is, I’m not sure why AMT says dark blue.

Satin black is correct for nearly all 50's to 70's factory stock cars.

Blue was used on some replacement aftermarket shocks, so it is acceptable for a used car with 25-35 thousand miles.

GM that had the swirl on them were grey, Mopar that I saw were black.
