casassa Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 It has a Volvo emblem attached to the grille, but I haven't been able to find any images of a Volvo that looks like this. JIM 2

casassa Posted June 30, 2022 Author Posted June 30, 2022 Thanks guys. Wonder how one of the unique vehicles ended up in the US. JM
stavanzer Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 Not Sure, but 5 years ago, I would have wanted one in the worst possible way.
stitchdup Posted June 30, 2022 Posted June 30, 2022 There was a custom one of these at sema a few years ago. I think most of the ones in the usa may be imported from canada as I've seen a few ex military versions for sale up in the cold north which makes sense due to the similar weather patterns
Brian Austin Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 I saw one at a military vehicle show in Rhode Island over 15 years ago. It has the look of mounting a sedan body on a 4x4 truck chassis. Here's a Volvo sedan for comparison: https://classiccarcatalogue.com/VOLVO_1940.html
Ace-Garageguy Posted July 1, 2022 Posted July 1, 2022 Here's a lot of info about these things, including importation info, all in one place http://www.volvosugga.org/
