My 1970 Firebird Trans Am started. Laid a coat of Tamiya White primer. Then just l laid down a base coat of Testors Diamond Dust. Will wait a couple of days to spray the TS51 Racing Blue top coat. As much as I like using enamels, certain models should only be sprayed with lacquers. This kit falls in that category for me.

Nice looking start. You might even consider just a coat or two of clear over your base coat. This is a nice-looking color as is.
